Are You Ready To Be Healed?
What an insane question this is. There are only twenty-one letters and a question mark that make up this very small sentence. Yet, “Do you want to be healed?” can be answered with a simple yes or no but asking, “Are you ready to be healed?” is a different type of question altogether.
How does one make oneself ready for a healing? What must be looked at or evaluated in order to answer this question with a resounding yes? God is not simply asking, “Do you want to be healed but have you made yourself readied for it?” He is asking us to look below the surface but for what?
We are not saved by or through works because our flesh would boast about it. If this is so how can we prepare for our healing and not have our flesh also glory that we assisted in this supposed miracle? If we are to have an actual miracle performed from God for our sake then how and what do we actually have to get ready?
This argument is not meant to be some type of rhetorical thinking, which gets us lost in word semantics but this is a very real question Father God asked me today. My first response was that’s an insane question. Only to realize He wasn’t laughing then neither was I. My mind raced through years of scripture and as far as I knew Jesus asked most often, “Do you want to be healed?” a simple yes or no would answer this.
Come on who wouldn’t say yes. We all want or need to be healed from something, right?
But think for a moment, “Are you ready to be healed?”
Being healed can happen in a moment but it is supposed to last a lifetime.
Once I was blind but now I see, I was lame but now I can walk. We always assume people in these conditions who have been touched have got their miracle, what’s left to get?
Blind and lame people will move away from one type of existence into another.
Crutches and wheel chairs are gone but so must go the excuses and mindsets which held them captive. Father God not only wants us healed but healed and free.
Blind people do not need walking sticks or guide dogs any longer but can chauffer themselves around. Yet how do they know where they are going if they have never seen before? How does a previously lame man explain feelings of earth under his toes if he has never experienced or had these feelings before?
The question, “Are you ready to be healed?” demands us to do a lot more self- examination and rethinking about what will actually occur when He steps forward and touches us. Although I am struggling with this question, I should probably be thankful He didn’t ask me another question, “ Do you want to be healed or do you want to be made whole?”
I am still pondering the original question and I am sure I will find my answer. I hope you do as well. Just remember keep your chin up and watch out for walls.
The Temptation
Temptation is easy to spot. It's anything that will distract you from your original intended purpose. Do you allow your simple everyday important things to keep you away from Him? Does your cell phone or e-mail also cry for your attention? Are your business or domestic duties crying a little more each day for your attention also? The world around you cries out for your help and it will only get louder based on the importance you give it.
During this time of your life, Father God also wants your attention. It's true, He still whispers your name every morning, often before the sun even comes up. He hopes you will remember His voice then take the time to talk with Him. He misses you.
Remember when we come aside and spend time with Him, the little world we are trying to control shrinks problematically and exponentially. Only you know what keeps you out of His presence.
I know my temptations, do you know yours?
Abundance of Rain
It is raining around me right now. I am doing nothing to cause this. I am just walking in the rain and because of the heat, prophecy rises like mist flowing to those around me. It is in this mixture that He dwells.
Increase of His presence is what I am asking for for and He responds by giving me rain. Come with me and experience the rain, experience prophecy and hear His voice. He wants to minister to you.
Worship & Warfare
It’s about the rain. It’s about the wet. It’s not about the dry or the sun soaked. It’s about the rain and it’s about the wet. It’s about the mud underneath us. Earth soaks up the rain as we walk. It drinks it up. Then spits it out under our feet as we walk out our paces. We are allowed six and no more. Only six. He said six and then comes the sacrifice.
Mud comes from too much rain.
Do not detest the soft ground under your feet. Do not detest the mud. Do not look to yourself but look away. Look away from the problems you carry. Look at the sacrifice.
Stare at the sacrifice. Become part of the sacrifice. Watch it. Watch as I consume it. Watch as I receive it.
Are you not intrigued by the sacrifice?
Are you slowly being consumed by mud under your feet?
Fight the temptation to be distracted in My presence. Fight that urge. Wrestle flesh. Wrestle emotions. Wrestle anything that would distract you.
Forget the mud underneath your feet. Forget the problems of yesterday. Forget the problems of tomorrow. Forget your family. Forget your hardships. Forget your finances. Forget yourself.
My rain falls slowly and steadily upon you. You will be wet. You will get soaked. You will feel the weight of the rain. You will also feel the mud.
My sacrifice is before you. Keep your eyes on it.
2 Samuel 6:13-14
Return of the Ark
You cannot mix foolishness with presumption because the end result will always be a folly.
My servant was a king and found this out the hard way.
I am Yahweh and the arm of flesh cannot help accomplish My task here upon the earth.
The arm of flesh cannot help save Me but it is My own right hand which will save My people from certain destruction and calamities. It is Me through you that you shall find success.
What man shall claim that He has saved Me says the Lord?
What man or woman can say, “By my own designs and plans does the Lord come and the Lord go. By the depth of my understanding and relationship do I call upon Him and He comes.”
I tell you now that I am no mans servant and even David who was a king did not assume such a pompous attitude. In this day and this hour I am commanding the silent ones who are constantly standing at attention waiting for My orders to open the doors.
My doorkeepers are ready willing and able but until I give the order, the doors for many will be brass. I am the king of Glory and when the order is given I will come in.
There is an order and there is a process to things and the previous attempt to carry the ark failed miserably upon the present day ideologies that have been taught.
I have a plan and I have a way for the ark to be carried.

1 Chronicles 13: 1-14
Three Witnesses
By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.
2 Corinthians 13:1
I will come to you not once, not twice but three times says God. My word is established line upon line and precept upon precept. I will not leave you alone at this time. Will I not comfort you during this time? I did not say I would soften the blows nor would I settle the rain but My word I will establish in your heart. Do not receive a word from the lips of just one witness but I will verify and validate My words to you. i will confirm myself to you in multiple ways so that you do not miss Me. The testings and the trials you are facing are the most radical and daunting yet and I would not leave you without a witness. In the darkest moments when the enemy would like to bring despair i will deliver my word to you as a beckon of light and a ray of hope. It is true, upon one word did you start to move forward but it is by My continued confirmations that will strengthen you during this time. I will be there when you start and when you finish the race but those who run without multiple witnesses run blind.
I will use who and what I want to establish My word in you but there shall always be at least two or three, not one. Do not take the witness of one and run.
Many are failing at this time because one person or one witness has set you adrift. I will always use multiple witnesses, so you can not be manipulated by any one.
I love you too much for that.
Keep Walking
This not an order or a command, it is a choice.
It is a choice you made before you started this journey, before you took on this task.
It was because of your choice that you are in this present situation. Your circumstances are not critical but your thinking has changed and has become so.
Am I not God? The only one and besides Me there is no other. If I Am the only, then where does your hopelessness and fear come from? Am I not able to save, deliver and set free? My child there is no enemy that is attacking you outwardly but your battle rages from within. Your member’s war with each other and you can find no rest. Fear doubt and unbelief run rampant throughout the hallways of your mind. They vie for your attention as you continue this walk. They distract you and you cannot seem to focus. I will send the rain. It will comfort you. It will distract you. Other things that fight for your attention I will wash away with rain. Continue to walk. Continue to carry My presence upon your shoulders and be thankful you are asked to stop every six steps but after the sacrifice keep walking.
I Will Not Share My Glory
You can walk in it, you can feel it, you can taste it and you can experience it, but I will not share it. All the Glory and Honor is mine. The sacrifices are all mine.
Give Me what is Mine and you will partake of My Glory.
In My presence is fullness of joy. In My presence is relief from pain. In My presence is healing. In My presence you have deliverance. In My presence you have victory. In my presence you have hope. In My presence you have…
What do you lack, what do you need? It is all wrapped up in the sacrifice and your offering. Give to Me what is mine and I will exchange it for what is yours.
Trouble Comes
I have come to trouble you says the Lord. I am the one who makes circumstances less than comfortable. I am the one who first fashioned the crooked road and when I desire, I make it straight. I sit in High places. And I made mountains, which you must climb. I made oceans to cross and barriers to breach. I the Lord have done all these things. I have not made it easy on purpose and yes I am the one who knows and understands the very things that trouble you. I am the Lord creator of all things. The enemy would lie to you and tell you that the obstacles are from him and you will fail.
He will tell you the path is too crooked you cannot do it. The mountain is too high you can’t climb it. He will tell you the ocean is too wide you will drown and the barrier cannot be breached. He is a liar and the father of them and the truth is not in him nor will it ever be. He comes to discourage you, to steal from you, to kill you and destroy the very promises of your God.
My child I have given you the guarantee of success through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He set the example follow it. There are no obstacles that are too big and there are battles too great that you cannot win. I have made a way where there is no way and these minor setbacks are nothing more than exercises meant to strengthen your resolve. Whose report will you believe mine or the enemies? I tell you the truth you can make it and you can do it. The victory is yours the miracle is yours. Don’t quit.
