Introduction to God's Gatekeepers
Thank you for showing interest
in the subject of God's Gatekeepers. We remind you that this topic is very real
and very important to you as a believer in Christ. As not to overlook any
important aspects of this subject, we will not move quickly through it. This
first article will introduce the dynamics of a belief system . . . it may
surprise you, but we also trust that it will enlighten you.
You must understand that 25
years ago, an in depth discussion of these dynamics would have been a shock to
most people. Back then, many bible believing people were coming out of the “word”
movement and entering the “charismatic” movement. Over the years, we
have been through other movements as well, but at no time has it been more salient
to understand the dynamics of a belief system than now. Today, we are living
amidst a generation of “believers” who are saturated by the occult. Yes, I said
believers.
Technically and literally,
anyone and everyone could be called a believer. If you have a belief system
that works, then you are a believer and you also will have faith with which to
navigate through your system of beliefs. Please understand that I am not trying
to convince you about what I believe, but rather do justice to expose a system
that works regardless of ones personal beliefs or faith. Faith is not something
that only Christians possess.
Although we will be discussing
laws that are universal, I want it to be known that there is One true and
living God who is creator of all things, including every law. He has a son
named Jesus who came to earth disguised as a man. He defeated satan and death
to legally take back the keys of hell and the grave. Although Jesus can redeem
us from the law, we must remember redemption is for all mankind. He died for
all humanity so this law is really a universal law and should not to be looked
at as uniquely a Christian law. Regardless of ones belief system, remember one
cannot own a law. All are under the law, so no one man, one faith or belief can
own this law. We are all bound by the law, one and the same.
We must also not be ignorant
that such things as “universal laws” do exist. Although incomprehensible at
times, they still do exist. Their very existence demands us to understand them
and how they work. We have no excuse to not know or understand how the law
works for us and, if we choose to be ignorant, then that same law can and will
be used against us. That is the purpose of this exposé. As seen in scripture, we
are not left without record of these laws. We will begin to study such laws in our next article.
On a personal note, I have to
admit that I am not a man who was ignorant of these laws before I came to
Christ, but I was a man who understood this same law that I now preach. If
possible, back then I would have used these laws against you. Yet I am (and
you should be) thankful for the blood of Christ, which redeemed me from the
curse of the law. Yes, that same law which I would have used against you, I now
use for His glory.
I know He has redeemed me for
such a time as this. Although many years have passed since I first believed, He
has never allowed me to forget these laws because they are universal for any
man who believes. The sinner and the saint work and dwell under these same
laws. What sets the sinner and the saint apart is in their acquisition and
application of the knowledge. Some use it for good and some for evil, yet the
same principles are in action . . . just not the same morals.
Now let's get cracking...
